Porsche 911 GT3 RSR
This year Porsche bet for presenting in the first place the most radical of all his models of competition, the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.
The most representative change is in the capó, that receives a rejilla of ventilation. This change owe to the rediseño of the drivings of the radiador, motivated by the inclusion of the option of the air conditioned for the habitáculo. The alerón also has modified , endowing it of main options of configuration. And to lighten weight, has improved the system of brakes and cableado electrical.
The engine boxer of six cylinders has gone up of cilindrida, arriving to the 4 litres, but his power has reduced until the 450 CV to 7.800 rpm, when in the previous model was of 465 CV to 8.000 rpm. This owe to the change of rule in the class GT2. The maximum pair follows being of 430 Nm, delivered to 7.250 rpm.
Now the engine is less powerful and has a maximum of lower revolutions, “only” arrives until the 9.000 rpm (9.400 rpm in the previous), but the curve of pair has optimised and for a specific power, the rank of revolutions is lower that before, doing it more aprovechable to any rank of turns.
The interior of the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR is spartan and only has the necessary for a car of competition, presents also some novelties. On the salpicadero has placed a small system of monitoring of the box of changes, that warns when it is the optimum moment for the change of course.
Also it adds a system of programmable control for different parameters of the car and personalizable for the teams. One of the things that can modify this new system is the frencuencia of blink of the leading lights when you go in in boxes. With this, each team will be able to recognise to his car a lot before.
For the moment, they have manufactured already 20 units of this spectacular car, that already have been sent to the different teams around the world. Each one of them goes out by 380.000 euros more the taxes of each country.
